The historic UFC 300 ended on a high Saturday when Alex Pereira registered his first light heavyweight title defense against Jamahal Hill.

Pereira (10-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) achieved something he could not do during his time as middleweight champion – and that’s defend the belt. He did so against Hill (12-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, registering a first-round knockout victory in the headlining act of the highly anticipated event.
