Israel and US: We have thwarted Iran’s missile and drone attacks
Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, in his first response to Iran’s retaliatory attacks, stated that these attacks had been contained.
Concurrently, Joe Biden, the President of the United States, described Iran’s missile and drone attack as “unsuccessful.”
The Islamic Republic of Iran launched attacks on Sunday, targeting military-related objectives associated with the Israeli army. According to media outlets affiliated with the Islamic Republic, several military targets, including the Natanz airbase in southern Israel and the Israeli army aircraft band in the Negev region, were destroyed as a result.
About a week before Iran’s potential attack on Israeli positions, it had been reported by American officials. The United States had also provided Israel with equipment to intercept and destroy missiles in case of an Iranian airstrike.
The United States reacted to Iran’s attack, stating that Israel, with the help of the forces and equipment sent to the region a week earlier, successfully neutralized Iran’s missiles and drones.
Biden affirmed that none of the US forces and facilities in the region were harmed, and the Israeli Prime Minister also declared, “We stopped them. Together, we prevail.”
Meanwhile, media outlets affiliated with the Iranian regime have reported Iran’s attack on Israel as “multi-dimensional, complex, and extensive.”
