ACSO arrests Albany man on grand larceny charge

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany County Sheriff's Office reported the arrest of Shi-Ron Morris, 20, of Albany, that occurred on Saturday. Morris was charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree grand larceny.

The Albany County Sheriff's Office Deputies reported patrolling Albany and conducting a traffic stop near Second Street and North Manning Boulevard for a traffic violation. It is alleged that the car Morris was driving was stolen and he was taken into custody.

Morris is at the Albany County Correctional Facility as a pre-arraign detainee. He is scheduled to appear in the City of Albany Criminal Court on Sunday.
