Mumbai: Spotlight has been on Rohit Sharma ever since he stepped down as the captain of Mumbai Indians ahead of IPL 2024 under mysterious circumstances. After that move, Rohit has been receiving immense support from fans and well-wishers. But, in what could be called as an hilarious moment at the iconic Wankhede stadium on Sunday, Rohit’s pants came off while fielding. This happened in the 12th over while Rohit was attempting to take a catch diving in front of him. He dropped the catch and subsequently his pants did not stay in place.

At the time of filing the copy, CSK, who were put into bat are 174 for three in 18 overs. Dube is on 64* off 36 balls, while he has Daryll Mitchell for company. CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad has been dismissed for 69* off 40 balls.

Rohit would be key with the bat for MI later on during the chase. The crowd has been rooting for him immensely at the Wankhede.
