Mumbai: After winning the flip of the coin, Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya could not control his emotions it seemed at the toss in Wankhede ahead of the big game against Chennai Super Kings. Initially, he said MI would be bowling first with a big smile on his face. He also informed CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad about it. But then, when Ravi Shastri asked him about what he would like to do, Hardik, forgot and said, we would bat first. Ravi asked him again, and then he corrected himself and said MI would like to bowl first.

“We would like to bowl first, dew will come into play. It (pitch) looks better than the last game, expecting a lot of runs. Need to stick to the basics. Winning is very important to get the momentum. We were able to win two games convincingly. That’s the beauty about IPL, everyone has to contribute. Your team will be able to achieve goals eventually. The dew started coming post 10 overs. It gets heavier in the evening. Same team,” Hardik said at the toss.
