MS Dhoni HITS Hardik Pandya For Hattrick of SIXES During MI vs CSK IPL 2024 Match at Wankhede | WATCH VIDEO

Mumbai: Fans were getting restless at the Wankhede stadium on Sunday as it had already come down to the final over of the innings and their favourite MS Dhoni had not come out to bat. That is when MI captain Hardik Pandya picked up the wicket of Daryll Mitchell to bring a smile on the faces of CSK fans. Then Dhoni walks out to bat and clobbers a hattrick of sixes to stun one and all. He truly rolled back the years and gave fans a glimpse of what he can still do. His three sixes also helped CSK go past the 200-run mark. Eventually, they posted 206 for four in 20 overs.

The first six came off an overpitched delivery, Dhoni smacked it down the ground over long-off for a six. Then, Hardik was slightly back-of-a-length, to which Dhoni clobbered him over mid-wicket for another six. By then, the crowd had lost it’s voice. The Shor-Meter was hitting the roof. And then finally the third six, it came towards the left of fine-leg.

“Around about par (total). The pitch gets better as the night gets on because of dew. That’s what happened in the last game. Very beneficial (to be alongside Bumrah). He (Bumrah) is probably the best in the world in this format, so learn from him. I’m loving it (the IPL). Great conditions here for cricket and you need to be at your best,” Gerald Coetzee said at the innings break.
