To say that Ludvig Åberg has had a meteoric rise up the ranks in the golf world would be an understatement.

The golfer, as of writing this, is just 24 years old, but the native of Sweden was one of the top amateur golfers in the world with Texas Tech for many weeks leading up to a huge moment in 2023: he was chosen by captain Luke Donald to be a captain’s pick for the 2023 Team Europe Ryder Cup squad, and the rookie didn’t look like one, going 2-2 and helping beat Scottie Scheffler and Brooks Koepka while playing with Viktor Hovland.

Since then, he turned pro and won the RSM Classic. He’s reportedly dating Texas Tech tennis player Olivia Peet.
