AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Fire Department said one firefighter sustained non-life-threatening injuries after a fire in northeast Austin Sunday.

AFD shared on social media the fire happened in the 7300 block of Berkman Drive. The injured firefighter has since been transported by Austin-Travis County EMS, per the post.
AFD said crews received an initial report of a person trapped inside the home. After a search "under heavy fire conditions," crews found no one inside.
