Suspect arrested after early April shooting at The Venue Gentlemen's Club

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A suspect was arrested in the April 1 shooting outside a Southeast Portland strip club, authorities said.

According to Portland police, 31-year-old Damariea R. Harris was arrested in Vancouver, Wash. after the murder of Morieo Camel-Harris and the shooting of a second person outside The Venue Gentlemen's Club on Southeast Stark Street.

Harris was taken to the Clark County Jail on outstanding warrants for second-degree murder with a firearm, second-degree attempted murder with a firearm, first-degree assault with a firearm, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon and felon in possession of a firearm.

Authorities said the process is currently underway to extradite Harris to Multnomah County.
