Police identify man killed in East Columbia shooting

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Authorities have identified the man killed by a shooting in the East Columbia neighborhood Friday afternoon, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
A medical examiner determined 44-year-old Alejandro Mondragon’s death was a homicide by gunshot wound after officers found him in the area near North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and North Gertz Road.
Police responded to the scene around 12:32 p.m., but Mondragon was dead by the time they arrived. No suspects were arrested.
