2 injured after tornado rips into RV in northeast Kansas
TOPEKA (KSNT) - The National Weather Service (NWS) is reporting new information from Tuesday morning's tornado in northeast Kansas.
The NWS announced on social media that an EF-1 tornado touched down just after 6 a.m. four miles west-southwest of Overbrook. It moved north-northeast for 10 miles, hitting the town of Richland and reached wind speeds up to 100 mph.
Two people were reportedly injured in the tornado when the RV they were in flipped over. A 27 News reporter visited this site and spoke with friends and family of the wounded at an address in the 3100 block of E 173rd Street.
