Sunil Narine INJURED? KKR Star’s Picks up Niggle During KKR vs RR IPL 2024 Game at Eden Gardens

Kolkata: With nine balls left, Kolkata Knight Riders star Sunil Narine picked up a niggle during his bowling stride on Tuesday during match against Rajasthan Royals. The incident took place in the 14th over, when Narine’s cramp forced medical attention from the outside. After getting his leg checked, it was decided that the ace all-rounder leaves the field. This is going to be interesting to see if he comes back to bowl his final over or not as the game still hangs in the balance with Jos Buttler in the middle in the mammoth 223 chase.

Earlier in the day, Narine came good with the bat as he smashed his first ever century in the format. He hit a breathtaking 109 off just 56 balls which helped KKR post a mammoth 223 for six. His innings was laced with 13 boundaries and six hits over the fence.

Besides Narine, Angkrish Raghuvanshi made 30 off 18 balls for KKR. Towards the end, Rinku Singh remained unbeaten on 9-ball 20.

Avesh Khan (2/35) and Kuldeep Sen (2/46) shared four wickets between them for RR.
