In 2019, both seats, which have a considerable population of Muslim and SC community, had gone to BSP in BSP-SP-RLD alliance. Since the tried and tested winning formula for these two seats is mainly the Muslim-SC combination, Muslim voters here seem a little disappointed with the INDIA bloc because of its failure to bring BSP in its fold.
