Oklahoma State transfer Eric Dailey has committed to UCLA, he announced Tuesday.

Dailey was a former top-60 recruit in the class of 2023 and averaged 9.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists on 49.6% shooting in his freshman season with the Cowboys.

“What’s stood out about UCLA is the winning culture and rich history that the school has,” he told ZAGSBLOG. “Everybody here embodies excellence, and that’s something that I want to be a part of.”

Dailey is the third transfer to join the Mick Cronin and the Bruins this offseason. Former USC guard Kobe Johnson committed to the crosstown rival two weeks ago, while former Louisville guard Skyy Clark chose UCLA a day before Johnson.

“Coach Cronin is a Coach that has a history of winning and getting the most out of his players,” Dailey said. He has a staff that echoes his passion for the game and leading players like myself down a road of success and opportunity.”

In terms of what he’ll bring to Los Angeles, Dailey mentioned his all-around game.

“I see myself as a versatile dual forward that is able to make plays, score, and get my teammates involved in the game,” he said. “As well as being a defender that can guard multiple positions. I always put [my] team first and I love to win.”
