In the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Kuldeep Rai Sharma from the Indian National Congress (INC) secured victory in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Lok Sabha constituency, in the Union Territory, garnering 95,308 votes. The voter participation rate was 65.18%, with 16 candidates vying for the position.
