St. Rose Wind Ensemble announces 'Last Concert' before closure

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The College of St. Rose's Wind Ensemble will hold its final show before the school closes at the end of the 2023-2024 academic year. The concert will feature a number of alumni in the "Last Concert" on Saturday.

The concert will be at 5 p.m. at the Picotte Recital Hall in the Massry Center for the Arts. Eighty St. Rose alumni—who will participate in an all-day rehearsal with Stephanie Podolec, adjunct music faculty member and conductor of the Wind Ensemble, and guest conductor Robert Hansbrough—are slated to accompany the current students performing.

"The response has been tremendous and we look forward to a great day of rehearsal and performance!" Podolec said in a statement.
