Person struck by train in Brooklyn; L subway service delayed: MTA
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A person was struck by a train in Brooklyn on Thursday, causing major subway service delays on the L line, according to the MTA.
L train service between Broadway Junction and Lorimer Street was shut down, but service has since resumed. Trains are still running with delays as of 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Eighth Avenue-bound L trains ended at Broadway Junction, where they were turned for Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway-bound service, according to the MTA.
Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway-bound L trains ended at Lorimer Street, where they were turned for Eighth Avenue-bound service.
Commuters could've taken the nearby A, C, J, and M trains as an alternative.
