NY man’s wallet likely saves his life by blocking gunman’s bullet in broad-daylight shooting

The victim was sitting in a car at the Homestead Village Apartment Complex at Homestead Drive and Grant Court in Coram around 10:50 a.m. Wednesday when a shooter unloaded multiple rounds into his car, cops said.
