Two arrested in Poughkeepsie on gun, drug charges
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two men were arrested in Poughkeepsie on Tuesday following a traffic stop, according to state police. Montel Wilson, 35, of New York City, and Ernest Seymour Jr., 41, of Poughkeepsie, are both facing numerous charges.
On April 23 around 5:30 p.m., state troopers and officers of the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department stopped a Honda Odyssey on Main Street for multiple traffic violations. State police say that the car's occupants, identified as Wilson and Seymour, were reportedly found to be in possession of a stolen handgun as well as quantities of cocaine and MDMA.
Both men were arrested at the scene. They now face the following charges:

- Two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Second-degree criminal possession of a weapon
- Fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Criminal possession of drug paraphernalia with a prior conviction
- Criminal possession of a firearm
- Fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property
Wilson and Seymour were arraigned at the City of Poughkeepsie Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail pending a future court date.
