A WOMAN who is in her 20s and works as a priest, has revealed that she goes to raves on Saturday nights, and then leads sermons on Sunday mornings.

Pippa White shared an insight into her unconventional weekend routine via a video posted to her TikTok channel, where she is known as @not_a_priestess

In the video Pippa, who is a priest in the Church of England, can be seen walking through her church on Saturday night wearing a leather mini-skirt, a crop top and heeled sandals.

She walks down the steps of the altar, looking somewhat out of place, and in the next clip, is dancing the night away at a Ministry of Sound 90s rave at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The next morning, Pippa is back in the church, in the market town of Whitchurch, wearing long white robes.

“May the Lord be with you”, she says to to the congregation whilst standing at the pulpit.

“It’s fine, I’ll sleep when I’m dead”, the caption to her video reads, in an apparent reference to how tired she feels after her night out on the town.

In a second video, Pippa gave viewers an insight into what a typical day looks like for her.

In the morning, she does a morning prayer at church, before teaching local children about the about the parable of The Good Samaritan.

Then, after lunch, she heads up to her office to plan funerals and wedding sermons and to write her Sunday sermon.

In the evening, the young priest goes to Rugby practice before doing some evening prayers and reading the Bible in bed.

There are no formal qualifications needed to become a priest, although candidates have usually done a degree in either theology or ministry.

It takes around eight years to fully train as a priest, and in the Church of England, you cannot be ordained until the age of 24.

Unlike in the Catholic Church, priests in the Church of England can be women, and are allowed to get married and have children.

Pippa’s video has likely left many open-mouthed, as it has racked up over 600,000 views on the video sharing platform.

TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts on the priest’s unique weekend routine.

One person said: “This reminds me of the time a priest told us he was going to Vegas and everyone was like ‘VEGAS?!?!?'”

“I’m just impressed that you’ve got your own parish in your 20s! Amazing.”
