Troy man arrested on gun and drug sale charges

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Troy Police Special Operations Detectives arrested a Troy man on Thursday in connection to an ongoing investigation. Kervin Tribble, 45, is facing multiple charges.

Stemming from a gun and drug sales investigation, Troy Police executed a search warrant near Douw and River Streets around 9:30 a.m. on April 25. During the search, officers reportedly located a loaded illegal handgun, $20,100 in cash, and quantities of cocaine, ecstasy, fentanyl and ketamine.

Tribble was arrested as a result of the search. He now faces the following charges:

• Second-degree criminal possession of a weapon
• Criminal possession of a controlled substance – intent to sell
• Second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
• Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
• Fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance

Tribble was arraigned at Troy City Court and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail.
