Nigel died on Easter Sunday.
He made it known that he did not want a funeral.
Therefore, in accordance with his wishes, his ashes are to be scattered in the Exe Estuary off SYC near no29 buoy.
This is planned to take place on Saturday 15th June at 12noon.
Weather permitting,the family will go afloat in the SYC RIBs to  witness the ceremony.
It has been requested that a one minute's silence be held immediately after the ashes are released.  This will be signalled by the race box horn

On return to the shore, refreshments will be available in the clubhouse.

All members who knew Nigel are invited.  For catering purposes , if you intend to be there it would be helpful if you let me know.

Also, we might be looking for a few more buoyancy aids, so a few extra would be helpful.
