Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has criticized the Congress for becoming "directionless" post-Independence and accusing its leaders of defaming Indian culture. Adityanath blames Congress's policies for terrorism and Naxalism in the country, claiming that the central government has controlled militancy in Naxal-affected areas and pacified the restive northeast. He calls Article 370 the "root of terrorism" and claims that the Narendra Modi government has connected Jammu and Kashmir with the mainstream of development.
