Pontins Prestatyn: Armed police seen at holiday park sparking panic after ‘shouts’ heard

ARMED cops have been spotted swarming a holiday park today after onlookers claimed they heard shouting.

Locals say they heard a commotion coming from North Wales’ former Pontins park this morning, sparking panic in the community.

Snaps showed cops in riot gear outside the much-loved park.

Witnesses told the Journal: “Armed police were outside a (holiday) block and police cars were all by the entrance of Pontins.

“I was nearby and heard shouting… and when driving home, I’ve just seen all of the police.”

Prestatyn Sands Holiday Park closed in November last year.
