Oklahoman finds way to help storm survivors

0

SULPHUR, Okla. (KFOR) -- After searching for a way to help, one tornado relief volunteer found her spot to pay it forward in Sulphur.

On Monday, Kassandra Fox told News 4 she wanted to help tornado victims, but didn't know how to help.

"I just want to help them get back on their feet," said Fox.

Tuesday, Fox went to the Murray County Expo Center. There, she was given a pass before she was able to walk around town and start helping.

She helped a church find anything salvageable for a couple of hours.

Then, she eventually found a woman who was trying to clean up her law office. Fox said the floor was soaked and the top two floors were collapsing. Fox helped her salvage memorabilia and furniture.

Fox plans to return to Sulphur on Saturday.
