Oh Mary! Rosie O’Donnell has entered the And Just Like Chat. The comedian posted her first And Just Like That… script on Instagram, breaking the news that she would be joining the show. Her character, Mary, will be joining the gals of Manhattan just as another queer stand-up is leaving. Coincidence?
What else can we glean from the IG post? The season 3 premiere’s episode title is “Outlook Good,” a phrase most commonly found on Magic 8-Balls. Through the script’s title page, you can make out the names of several other characters featured in the ep, including Lily and Rock York-Goldblatt, and the “well-hung Disney prince” Giuseppe. It also seems likely that the lob O’Donnell sports in her accompanying selfie is for the role. Looks good!
