2 fun parades coming up in Marin
• Greg Borrelli’s 34th annual May Madness Car Show, Northern California’s longest-running street rod show and parade, features an assortment of classic cars, live entertainment and food from noon to 6 p.m. May 11 in downtown San Rafael on Fourth Street from Lincoln to D Street, with a parade at 5 p.m. Admission is free. • The Mill Valley Memorial Day Parade begins with a veterans ceremony and reading of the winning essays from the “What does Memorial Day Mean to Me and My Family” kindergarten-through-eighth-grade essay contest at 9:45 a.m. May 27 at Lytton Square in downtown Mill Valley, followed by the parade at 10:30 a.m. from Old Mill Park to Tamalpais High School at 700 Miller Ave. in Mill Valley.
