Guilty verdict reached in fatal Albany shooting
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The suspect accused of shooting and killing a 39-year-old man in 2023 in Albany has been found guilty. Kerdel Young was convicted of second degree murder.
The jury concluded that Young shot Anthony Dias multiple times near Sherman and Quail Streets last February. Dias died at the scene.
Young is being held in jail until his sentencing in July.
