Man sentenced for 2022 fatal Schenectady shooting
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Schenectady County District Attorney's Office said Anthony Romero was sentenced on Wednesday. He was convicted in February of second degree murder and tampering with physical evidence.
Romero will spend 37 years to life in prison.
The jury found him guilty of shooting and killing Treavine Tate on State Street in May 2022. Romero tried to argue he acted in self-defense. The shooting took place on Tate's 21st birthday.
