Since the announcement, there have been innumerable debates over a few cricketers who did not find spots. The Indian captain Rohit Sharma and chief selector Ajit Agarkar are set to answer all queries in a press conference in Mumbai. The duo is surely going to be bombarded with tough question from the media. It would be interesting to see how they tackle it.

KL Rahul didn’t find a place in the side with Sanju Samson being preferred over the Lucknow Super Giants skipper. Pant, who returned to cricket after 14 months in the ongoing IPL following a horrific car accident, will be India’s first-choice wicketkeeper while Samson will be the back-up keeper in the side.

Meanwhile, Chahal, who was omitted in the Asia Cup and ODI World Cup last year, has foinally found a place in the squad following his IPL 2024 heroics with the ball.
