Noda appeared in 128 games and posted a 123 wRC+ for the Athletics in his debut season, but he has been a severe funk to start the 2024 campaign. Noda is currently in an 0-for-28 funk and is hitting just .128/.242/.198 with one home run and a 40 wRC+ while striking out 32% of the time across his first 100 plate appearances.
Davis saw action at both corner spots before going on the injured list with a groin injury. He was also off to a difficult start at the plate hitting .196/.255/.373 with two homers and an 83 wRC+ over his first 55 plate appearances.
The Athletics finished off a three-game sweep of the Pirates Wednesday to improve to 15-17 on the season. They have won six of seven overall and will host the Miami Marlins over the weekend.
