Beauty fans rushing to buy cult brands like Bondi Sands which Boots are ‘no longer selling’ as prices are slashed £1

SHOPPERS are racing to their local Boots store as cult brands have been slashed in price.

Bondi Sands, Isle of Paradise and Skinny Tan products have all been dropped to a pound – with one shopper claiming it’s because Boots is no longer selling them.

“A member of staff said they were so heavily discounted because they’re no longer selling these brands,” Alice James said.

“I’m not sure how true that is, but a bargain none the less.”

She took to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to showcase her beauty buys.

Alice picked up the £15 Bondi Sands Pure Self Tanning Sleep Mask and two bottles of the £16 Bondi Sands Pure Self Tan Foaming Water for a quid each.

She also nabbed a bottle of the Skinny Tan Wonder Serum, worth a whopping £30, for just a pound too.

Last but not least, she also added Isle of Paradise’s £24.95 Hyglo Body Hyaluronic Self-Tan Serum for £1.

“It could be they are just repackaging them,” one shopper responded to the claim that Boots is no longer stocking the three tanning brands.

“I went in a couple of years ago and all the Bondi Sands were 20p.

“Because I had boots points, it was basically free.

“It’s possibly the same thing here – repackaging, reformulating, etc.”

Similarly, another shopper found a plethora of designer perfumes in her local Boots for just £20.

“They were amongst the other perfumes in cabinets,” she said.

“I’m buzzing.

“Christmas sorted for some of my friends.”

The woman, who chose to remain anonymous, walked away with a 30ml bottle of Mugler Alien Goddess Intense, worth £72, for just £20.

She similarly picked up Paco Rabanne’s £61.50 Olympea Flora and Dior’s iconic £68 Miss Dior perfumes for just £20.

What’s more £85 bottles of Marc Jacobs’ Daisy Eau So Fresh Paradise were slashed to £30.

How To Save Money On Beauty Buys

IF your purse is feeling tighter than ever before and you're looking to save cash on your make-up routine, have you ever thought of trying out beauty dupes?

Here’s five of the best recommended beauty buys that are almost identical to the posh versions, but for a fraction of the price.

FACE BASE: If you can’t afford Charlotte Tilbury‘s £52 Magic Cream, why not try a dupe that costs just £5.49 from Superdrug?

TONE IT UP: If Drunk  Elephant’s £62 Protini moisturiser is out of your price range, you’ll need to check out the new dupe in Home Bargains.

TINTING IT: With Fenty’s ‘game-changer’ skin tint costing an eye-watering £29, a popular supermarket’s affordable alternative might just be the thing for you.

GET COVERED: At £29 for a Tarte concealer, the new Primark dupe is much more affordable at just £3.50.

SPRAY YAY: For those wanting to smell fresh, without the price tag, Aldi’s new Prada and Chloe perfume dupes cost a fraction of the price.
