Movie fans can now stay in the house from Up for FREE after it’s recreated as an Airbnb
MOVIE fans can take off in the house from Up — after it was recreated as an Airbnb with 8,000 balloons.
A huge crane raises the property which memorably soared away in the classic 2009 animation.

Oscar-winning Up saw widowed pensioner Carl Fredricksen embark on an airborne adventure with boy scout Russell and talking dog Kevin.
Airbnb faithfully recreated grumpy Carl’s home, with mementos such as his oxygen tanks and wife Ellie’s goggles.
Guests, who can request a stay for free, can also collect badges like Russell’s via a series of “mini-adventures”.
Other Airbnb Icons include the Minnesota house from 1984 Prince movie Purple Rain and the X-Men ’97 mansion in New Castle, New York.
Brian Chesky, Airbnb co-founder and CEO, said: “Icons take you inside worlds that only existed in your imagination – until now.
“As life becomes increasingly digital, we’re focused on bringing more magic into the real world. With Icons, we’ve created the most extraordinary experiences on Earth.”
Up fans hoping to celebrate the film’s 15th anniversary have until May 14 to request to spend the night at the iconic house.
