Nicky Hilton Gets Sharp in Pointed Blue Shoes at Variety’s Power of Women Event in New York
Nicky Hilton Rothschild was spotted Wednesday afternoon at Variety’s Power of Women event in New York City wearing a pair of blue pointed-toe pumps. The mother of three looked effortless in a matching blue dress and purse to accompany her shoes for the luncheon.
The sharp pumps are in-line with the elevated footwear silhouettes the star has been spotted in as of late. In April, Hilton Rothschild was seen walking around New York City in a pair of Christian Louboutin Leather Slingback sandals. Featuring a peep-toe design, the shoes included a 5.25-inch platform base constructed from a lightly colored cork, a patent leather upper doused in a soft nude hue and was finished in a buckle-adorned slingback style.
When she isn’t wearing heels or platforms, you can typically find Hilton Rothschild in a simple stylish pair of flats. Back in August, she was seen wearing a pair of French Sole flats from her namesake collection. The style featured delicate laser-cut perforations mimicking geometric flowers and a set of beige bows that topped each toe.
Variety’s Power of Women event is an annual summit that features conversations with some of Hollywood’s highest achieving and influential women. The event includes stories of inspiration, optimism, and hope by connecting celebrity honorees with women working every day to affect positive change.
About the shoes
For the event, Hilton Rothschild elected to wear a pair of pointed-toe pumps. Crafted with patent leather material, the shoes were splashed in a light blue color that matched her outfit. The star kept her shoe look simple as there were no additional adornments or designs featured, with the pumps being rounded out with a razor sharp stiletto heel that estimated between 3.5 and 4-inches.
About pointed-toe pumps
Pointed-toe pumps are a classic style that blends together elements of vintage and modern-day fashion. Regarded as a preferred shoe for red carpets and formal occasions, the popularity of the slim stiletto heel started re-emerging again at the start of the 2020s. In 2024, the style started on an upward swing with stylists recommending pointed shoe styles to achieve simple and classic looks for spring and summer.
