Piyush Chawla Not Retiring Soon, Confirms Will Play IPL For At Least Three More Years | WATCH
Mumbai: Veteran Piyush Chawla may not be a regular in the Mumbai Indians XI this season, but he is still optimistic about his future at the IPL. After the Knight Riders beat Mumbai Indians by 24 runs at the Wankhede stadium on Friday, Chawla, who is 35, claimed he will play the league for at least three more years. He made the claim after the match while having a light-hearted banter with KKR’s Nitish Rana. The clip was shared on the KKR social media handles and is being loved by fans.
Here is the viral clip KKR captioned as: “We’re eager to keep meeting you.” KKR also tagged Piyush in the post.

The MI spinner has vast experience of playing IPL for various franchises. He has played 182 IPL games, picking up 184 wickets. He is also among the leading wicket-takers in the history of the league. He also bowls at an economy of less than 8, which is considered to be very good in modern times.
First, it would be interesting to see if MI retain him ahead of the mega-auction or not. Also, if he is up for auction – will he attract bidders given the fact that he may not serve the side for a long time.
Meanwhile, MI, who have played 11 games have won merely three and are hence languishing at the ninth spot in the points table. MI play SRH next at the Wankhede. It is expected to be a humdinger.
