Phillies SS Trea Turner (hamstring) expects to miss 6 weeks

The Philadelphia Phillies placed star shortstop Trea Turner on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a left hamstring strain.

Turner said he expects to be sidelined at least six weeks and any return before that "would be a win," he told reporters.

Turner, 30, has started all 33 games this season and is slashing .343/.392/.460 with two homers, nine RBIs and 10 stolen bases
