Catalan pro-independence parties set to lose hold on power

Separatist parties appear to be in danger of losing their decade-long hold on power in Spain’s north-eastern Catalonia region as the pro-union Socialist Party is poised to win the most votes in Sunday’s regional election with 85% of ballots counted.
