Bangladesh inflation eases but stays high

DHAKA, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Bangladesh's inflation decreased to 9.74 percent in April from 9.81 percent in March, according to the latest data from the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS).

The Consumer Price Index released by the BBS showed that food inflation increased to 10.22 percent in April from 9.87 percent in the previous month.
