Love Island legend lands huge new job on Aftersun as spin-off returns after ‘axe’
LOVE Island legend Amy Hart has landed a new job on Aftersun after the spin-off returns this summer.
It comes after The Sun exclusively revealed last week that Aftersun will be back after being absent from the All Stars series.

The mum-of-one impressed bosses on the show’s official podcast and has been offered a chance with join former Islander Indiyah Pollack on the sofa, alongside host Maya Jama.
A source exclusively told The Sun: “Amy joined the Morning After podcast with Sam Thompson and Indiyah Pollack back in January and Love Island execs thought she did a brilliant job.
“As a result, they’ve offered her a new gig appearing as one of the regular panellists on Aftersun.
“She’s got a big personality and big opinions, so she’s the perfect fit.”
Amy’s fellow podcast hosts Sam Thompson and Indiyah Pollack were previously panellists on Aftersun but ITV are yet to confirm their future on the spin-off.
The Sun has approached ITV for comment.
Maya Jama will once again be the main host and will fly back and forth between the villa in Mallorca and the Aftersun studios in Elstree, Hertfordshire.
We exclusively revealed last week, Aftersun will return this summer after being rested for the All Stars run in January.
The main ITV2 show will kick off again on Monday, June 3, with Maya Jama back as host.
A source said: “Love Island bosses tried to mix things up for All Stars as they saw it as a brand new format.
“One of the ways they tried to make it different was ditching Aftersun and having Maya interview the islanders outside the villa immediately after they were sent packing.
“Viewers didn’t love the change though and really missed Maya fronting the Sunday night spin-off, so bosses are definitely bringing it back for the regular series.
“Logistically, it makes sense to have it back too as Maya stayed in Cape Town for the whole of the All Stars run, whereas she will be flying back and forth between the Mallorca villa where the summer series films, and London where Aftersun records.
“Producers are already reaching out to agents to book guests for the first few shows of the new series when it returns in June.”
