Mizoram's Zo Re-Unification Organisation (ZORO) held two rallies in Champhai district to protest the Indian-Myanmar border fence and the removal of the Free Movement Regime (FMR). The rallies took place at Zokhawthar and Vaphai villages, bordering Myanmar. The Mizoram government, opposition parties, and civil society organizations oppose the fence and FMR, believing it would dissociate ethnic communities between the two countries.
