The government is developing a policy for low grade iron ore beneficiation to increase steel production using low-grade iron ore. Steel Secretary Nagendra Nath Sinha and Union Steel Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia are involved in emphasizing low-carbon emitting steel-making processes.
