Report: Clubs from South America and Asia want to sign Tottenham player

Premier League Brasil have claimed that Emerson Royal will have no shortage of suitors this summer, with the Tottenham man said to be attracting interest from Brazil, the Middle East, and European sides.

Over the last week, a number of Italian outlets have reported that Milan are keen to add a right-back to their squad this summer and have set their sights on Emerson.

This includes a recent update Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness), which claimed that Tottenham have told the Serie A side that the defender will cost €30m (£25.7m).

Emerson Royal will have options this summer

Premier League Brasil have now also backed up Milan’s admiration of Emerson but they say that the interest in the right-back is not restricted to Serie A.

In fact, Brazilian side Flamengo are thought to have made contact over the 25-year-old’s availability while several Suadi Pro League are also keeping an eye on the situation.

However, the publication adds that there is very little chance that the defender will leave Europe this summer, with his entourage insisting that he will “go to a good team.”

Emerson will have no shortage of interest from Spain and Italy this summer and Tottenham will be hoping that there is a bidding war for the right-back so that they can get back a significant portion of the £30m fee they paid for him three years ago.
