'Rockstar': Rep. Jasmine Crockett's MTG 'diss track' drops to immediate praise
Rep. Jasmine Crockett's (D-TX) solo track dropped Friday morning in a music video co-starring a befuddled Rep. James Comer.
Rep. Jared Moskowitz shared on X his newly released "diss track" that uses a sample of Crockett taking a shot at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
"Just to better understand your ruling," Crockett begins, "if someone on this committee then starts talking about someone's bleach-blond, bad-built, butch body..."
At this point, a hip-hop beat drops in as the track does a vocal loop on the word "Body."
As the beat goes on, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) nods his head and Comer scowls.
Moskowtiz delivered his homage to Crockett on the heels of a chaotic House Oversight Committee contempt hearing for Attorney General Merrick Garland that saw the Texas Democrat and Greene trading jabs and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) coming to her defense.
"I think your fake eyelashes are messing up your reading," Greene told Crockett.

"How dare you attack the physical appearance of another person," snapped Ocasio-Cortez.
"Oh girl, baby girl," Ocasio-Cortez added. "Don’t even play."
Moskowitz's melodic rendition of a key moment in the debate garnered much praise for the both the music and the lyrics.
"eep it real… that’s why we love you!"
"Omg this is so LIT," said @silkyblack2006.
"[Crockett] is a rockstar," replied @JasmineForUS
