Summer block party concert series coming to Troy
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Twisted Fiddler is bringing Fiddler Fridays, a summer block party concert series, to Troy. The restaurant will be hosting 10 concerts at 9 First Street with live outdoor music, a beer truck, and food from the Slidin' Dirty food truck.
Five of the nights will feature top local music acts while five “Funk Nights” will feature members of national touring bands. Funk Nights will be on the last Friday of the month, the same nights as Troy Night Out.
"We are continuing to bring live music to downtown Troy and building on the momentum," said owner Tim Taney. "This is a great block to have a block party."

- July 26: Funk Night: Tim Palmieri (of Lotius), and Zdenek Gubb and Adrian Tramontano (of Twiddle)
- August 9: The Deadbeats (Grateful Dead Tribute)
- August 30: Funk Night: Beau Sasser’s Escape Plan
- September 13: Lustre Kings (Rockabilly)
- September 27: Funk Night: Jennifer Hartswick (of Trey Anastasio Band)
Gates open at 6 p.m. with concerts going from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The concerts will go on rain or shine. In case of rain, the music will be moved inside Twisted Fiddler.
