I'm reading the book "This Book is Drunk". Wild book by James Lee Meadows

If you aren't offended by drinking and drugs I would recommend it. In the mid 70's he sails from Miami to Boston in a Sunfish. Does anyone know if he is still alive? I tried Google with no luck...
