Gamethread: White Sox at Yankees
It’s a tough end to May, we’ll see if the South Siders warmer streak can sustain
We’ll be covering 25 players on the roster tonight, so you’re gonna get some abridged coverage.

Julks, a Houston prospect who got some decent run with the Astros last season (homering off of Shohei Ohtani, even!) hops right into the lineup. Nothing says “deep system” like continuing to pick up AAAA fringe players and running them right out into the lineup.
Anyway, batting sixth tonight ...

Also, speaking of, the White Sox outright released outfielder Rafael Ortega and his -25 OPS and -0.2 WAR in 14 PAs today.
[redacted] day is always a bummer here at South Side Sox, so how about a bright bit of news? Thanks, Cubs!

Milwaukee’s magic number: 119. In a real league, the Cubs wouldn’t even be guaranteed a wild card, but in the National there are just five teams better than .500. Too late for them to vote against increased interleague play?
