England’s ‘most beautiful’ village has annual duck race and very famous row of houses
A village in the UK is known as being the most beautiful in England – and you’ll have even spotted it in your passport.
The Cotswolds is known as one of the prettiest places in the UK, but one place often comes out on top.

Not only that, but Time Out also named it one of the prettiest villages in the world, coming in 14th place and being the highest rated in the UK.
Home to just 700 locals, thousands of tourists flock to the village every year.
Most people head to Arlington Row, a pretty row of houses dating back to the 1300s which is featured on the UK passport.
It was even said to have inspired Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings.
Attractions in the village include Bibury Trout Farm, who recently announced a number of beer and gin music festivals this year, as well as the Church of St Mary.
Most people take photos from the three-arched bridge travelling over the River Coln which flows through the village.
And a popular annual event on the river is the Bibury Duck Race, taking place on Boxing Day where thousands of plastic ducks are released.
Despite being a small village, there are a number of restaurants and pubs to choose from.
The Catherine Wheel Pub, dating back to the 15th century, serves classic British food, or you can find meals at both Bibury Trout Farm or the Swan Hotel.
If you fancy staying, there is the 22-bedroom Swan Hotel otherwise a number of cottages can be rented.
Previous visitors have raved about the village, with someone saying it was “breathtakingly beautiful”.
One person wrote: “This [village] is so adorable and definitely worth visiting.
“The whole place was very charming and it is free to visit.”
Another said: “Visiting really was like walking into a picture postcard.”
While Bibury is one of the most popular Cotswolds hotspots, another is Bourton-on-the-Water.
Often dubbed the “Venice of the Cotswolds” due to its stone bridges over the river, thousands also visit every day in the peak of summer.
It could be much harder to visit, as locals discuss plans to restrict coach trips and even want to ban them to reduce visitor numbers.
Another pretty Cotswolds town is Witney, which is often overlooked in favour of other nearby towns.
The town is home to a highly-rated teddy bear shop and local cafes, as well as pretty streets and even a wildlife farm.

Another Cotswolds village even has it’s own beach.
Despite being landlocked, Shorncote’s Cotswold Country Park and Beach has a huge water lagoon and aqua park as well as a sandy beach.
