Stray cattle remain a significant issue in Uttar Pradesh's ongoing Lok Sabha elections, impacting farmers' crops and causing road accidents. Despite government efforts, the problem persists. In Kadaura village, two gaushalas run by women's self-help groups, supported by the state, shelter and care for these animals. The shelters, which started three years ago, use technology for management and receive both government and private veterinary assistance. The district administration is actively involved, implementing initiatives like a gobar gas plant to support the gaushalas financially.
