Patroons hold on for 128-124 win over Jackals
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany Patroons returned to the Washington Avenue Armory Friday night sporting a 14-4 record; 1.5 games back of the Frederick Flying Cows for first place in the Atlantic Northeast division with five games to go in the regular season. They looked to gain some ground Friday night against the Jamestown Jackals.
The Jackals jumped out to a 27-23 lead after the first quarter. Shadell Millinghaus sparked a Patroons comeback. They took the lead in the second quarter and didn't look back on their way to a 128-124 win.
Millinghaus led the way with 27 points. The Patroons are back home Saturday night against the Connecticut Crusaders at 7:00 PM.
