Accord woman sentenced to 5 years probation for grand larceny

KINGSTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Accord woman was sentenced to five years of felony probation and ordered to pay $207,533.74 to Otto-Tech Manufacturing on Thursday. Patricia Matthews, 54, pleaded guilty to second-degree grand larceny in December, resulting in this sentence.

Matthews' conviction and sentencing come from the alleged ongoing theft and falsification of business records while being employed at Otto-Tech Manufacturing, a parts manufacturing company. She was an employee there since 2011 and is accused of stealing from the business between December 2015 and February 2022.
